Leakage Tester GB-M1
The Leakage Tester GB-M1 is a seal integrity tester designed to evaluate the sealing quality of flexible packaging. Utilizing a vacuum testing system combined with a high-precision pressure sensor, the instrument effectively detects package leakage and provides reliable testing results.
The instrument is controlled by a microcomputer-based system, allowing users to set the desired vacuum level and testing duration. Test results and operating parameters are displayed on a high-resolution LCD screen, enabling users to evaluate packaging seal quality before products are released for use. This helps reduce the risk of product damage, contamination, and packaging-related quality issues.
The Leakage Tester GB-M1 is suitable for the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, chemical, and packaging industries where seal quality control must comply with the international standard ASTM D3078.
Working Principle
The Leakage Tester GB-M1 operates based on the Vacuum Leak Test method. The packaging sample is submerged in water inside the test chamber, and a vacuum is then generated within the chamber, creating a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the package.
If the package contains a leak, air bubbles will be observed escaping from the leakage point. In some cases, water may penetrate into the package. These observations can be used to accurately evaluate seal integrity and overall package performance.

High-Quality Components for Reliable Testing Results
The instrument is equipped with a high-precision pressure sensor featuring excellent sensitivity and real-time intake pressure monitoring. This ensures accurate, stable, and repeatable testing results.
Fully Automatic Operating System
Users can freely set the vacuum level and testing duration according to their requirements. The instrument automatically performs the complete testing sequence, including vacuum generation, vacuum holding for the preset period, test completion, and pressure restoration after testing.
The newly designed pneumatic circuit utilizes compressed air as the power source and is driven by a pneumatic system, enabling rapid vacuum generation and pressure recovery while maintaining pressure balance inside and outside the test chamber.
Modern Design and User-Friendly Operation
The instrument features a large high-resolution color LCD display, providing clear data visualization and responsive control. Users can conveniently configure test parameters and operate the system with ease.
In addition, the instrument is equipped with a standalone operating system, allowing independent operation without the need for a computer connection. It supports automatic test data processing and efficient management of testing results.
