Jet & Diesel Fuel Analyzer 70Xe Series

The Jet & Diesel Fuel Analyzer 70Xe Series from PAC is an Integrated Fuel Analyzer designed to test the flow properties, viscosity, and density of fuel samples. It combines several test functions in one instrument, helping laboratories run different fuel tests in a single, continuous workflow. 

The analyzer supports jet fuel, diesel fuel, and renewable fuels, including Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), Renewable Diesel or HVO, and biodiesel. It is suitable for laboratories that need fast and accurate results that comply with ASTM, IP, ISO, and DEF STAN standards. 

The IFA-70Xe model can measure up to six important properties of jet fuel and diesel fuel: 

  • Freezing Point 
  • Cloud Point 
  • Pour Point 
  • Kinematic Viscosity at -20°C and -40°C 
  • Kinematic Viscosity at 40°C 
  • Density 

By combining these functions, the 70Xe Series works as a complete fuel property analyzer. It can test low-temperature flow properties, viscosity, and density in one system.

Jet & Diesel Fuel Analyzer 70Xe Series
  • Designed for jet fuel and diesel fuel testing The analyzer measures important properties of aviation fuel and diesel fuel. 
  • Supports renewable and sustainable fuels. It can test SAF, Renewable Diesel or HVO, and biodiesel. It also supports the Referee Freezing Point method for co-processed SAF. 
  • Built-in cooling system The Integrated Peltier Cooling System controls sample temperatures from -100°C to 70°C. No external cooling bath or chiller is required. 
  • DLS technology for cold property testing Diffusive Light Scattering technology detects changes in the sample during Freezing Point, Cloud Point, and Pour Point tests. 
  • Horizontal capillary viscosity measurement Kinematic viscosity is measured using a constant-pressure system with a horizontal capillary. This provides accurate and standards-compliant results. 
  • Test results in as little as 5 minutes 
  • Cold Properties: as little as 5 minutes 
  • Viscosity and Density: as little as 10 minutes 
  • Cold Properties, Viscosity, and Density: as little as 15 minutes 
  • Less sample preparation time The operator can prepare and start a test in less than one minute. This helps reduce testing time and increase the number of samples tested each day. 
  • Automatic sample loading The Automatic Single Injection system provides consistent sample loading and helps reduce operator error. 
  • Optional 30-position autosampler The autosampler allows laboratories to test multiple samples continuously with less operator involvement. 
  • 13.3-inch touchscreen The large touchscreen and simple user interface make the instrument easy to operate. 
  • Phase Plot display The system shows a Phase Plot of the sample during testing, helping users review sample behavior and confirm the reliability of the result. 
  • Compatible with PACe Users can monitor instrument status in real time, check performance, and receive alerts about instrument issues through a computer or mobile device.
