Friction and Peel Tester
The FP-2260 Friction/Peel Tester is designed for the accurate measurement of the coefficient of friction (COF), as well as peel strength and seal strength. It is suitable for quality control and product testing in the flexible packaging and packaging film manufacturing industries.
For COF testing, the instrument can measure both Static COF, which indicates the force required to initiate movement between two surfaces, and Kinetic COF, which represents the friction generated while the surfaces are moving against each other.
The FP-2260 supports a variety of standard COF sleds, including 200 g, 500 g, 1,000 g and 3 lb options. Custom sleds are also available, and the software accepts variable sled weights to accommodate specific testing requirements.
