On June 4, 2026, Chemical House & Lab Instrument Co., Ltd. successfully delivered and installed the OptiCPP Cloud & Pour Point Analyzer from PAC at the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC) to support petroleum product and fuel quality analysis for research and testing in accordance with international standards.
Cloud Point and Pour Point testing are among the most important parameters used to evaluate the low-temperature flow properties of petroleum products and fuels. These measurements play a critical role in quality control, product development, and performance assessment under cold operating conditions.
The PAC OptiCPP is designed to perform fully automated Cloud Point and Pour Point determinations, reducing manual testing procedures while improving consistency and repeatability of test results. The instrument features a built-in cooling system capable of reaching temperatures as low as -95°C, allowing laboratories to analyze a wide range of petroleum-based products.
In addition, the OptiCPP supports multiple internationally recognized test methods, including ASTM D2500, ASTM D5771, ASTM D97, and ASTM D5950. These standards are widely adopted throughout the petroleum and energy industries for evaluating fuel performance at low temperatures.
Following installation, Chemical House engineers performed system verification and provided operational guidance to ensure that users could begin utilizing the instrument efficiently and effectively.
