Laboratory Disc Refiner Type Bauer

Laboratory Beater Type Hollander

The HV-10 is a laboratory beater used for pilot beating of pulps in the Q.C. (quality control) and R&D (research and development) of pulps.

The knives of the beating roll and the bedplate are stainless steel made and have adjustable contact pressure by means of integrated precise balance.


Laboratory Beater Type Jokro

The JK-21 is a laboratory beater widely used for pilot beating of pulps in the Q.C. (quality control) and R&D (research and development) of pulps, papers and boards.

The JK-21 has six sets of beating units which are mounted in a horizontal revolving table that performs a planetary movement around the central shaft ensuring perfect homogenous beating of all samples.

Disintegrator

The Disintegrator model DSG-2000 is an equipment indispensable for the laboratory wet desintegration of pulp and the correct preparation of pulp suspensions.

This preparation is a key point for the determination of refining degree according to the Schopper-Riegler and Canadian Freeness methods, and for the preparation of laboratory sheets for physical testing according to the Conventional and Rapid-Köthen methods.

Its design allows to separate again interlaced fibres which were free in the pulp stock without appreciably changing their structural properties.

Pneumatic Sheet Press for Handsheets

Distributor

Electric Incinerator

The determination of residue (ash content) on ignintion at 900º C is worldwide used to determine the filler content in pulp, paper and board in the routines of Q.C. (Quality Control) of the production lines.

The sample is inserted in the ignition chamber, which is a furnace at 900º C, where all organic content is burned, remaining only the inorganic components.

The comparison of the initial weight of the sample and the final weight of the residue with an analytic scale gives the percentage of residue.


Friction & Peel Tester Horizontal Plane Method

The MCA-2000 measures the static and kinetic coefficient of friction of paper, board, corrugated, paperboard, plastic films as well peel properties of adhesives and labels for the Q.C. (quality control) and R&D (research and development) tasks.

Water Vapour Transmission Tester

The PVA/4 is designed for preparation of test pieces for the accurate measurement of the WVTR - Water Vapour Transmission Rate - of sheeted materials like paper, board, plastics, aluminum, rubber, etc.

The WVTR is the mass of water vapour transmitted through a unit area in a unit time under specified conditions of temperature and humidity.

Usually indicated in grams per square meter per day g/(m .d) the WVTR is a key characteristic used to specificate sheet materials in the packaging industry.

Ink Rub Tester

The Ink Rub Test is used worldwide to determine the abrasion resistance of materials and printed materials.

Abrasion resistance is a desirable and sometimes critical property ofmaterials printed materials as damage can occur during shipment, storage, handling and end use.

A material or print with a low abrasion resistance may suffer a significant decrease in product appearance and legibility of printed information.

It is applicable to labels, folding cartons, corrugated boxes, inserts, circulars and other printed materials having applied graphics on a flat substrate as paper, board, corrugated board, plastic and aluminum film.

The VMX-1100 is a small sized package shaker designed for the laboratory simulation of typical harzards present in distibution environment.
